Last night we had the opportunity to see Monster Jam here in Raleigh. It was truly fun for the entire family - young and old couldn't help but yell and cheer for their favorite Monster Trucks!

Near the very beginning, the IronMan truck flipped over while trying to perform in the Wheelie competition - in the words of my son "that is so cool". Even though the Monster Truck had some damage, he continued on throughout the night.

Everyone's favorite Monster truck last night was North Carolina's own Grave Digger - celebrating 30 years of Monster Madness!

The Monster Trucks put on a great show - wheelies, racing, and freestyle! It was loud and fun and a great way to spend a night with the family!!!! Thank you so much to Feld Entertainment for allowing my family to enjoy this great family event!

This is NC's own Grave Digger's 30th Anniversary and the Raleigh debut of Iron Man!The event will feature: Grave Digger, Monster Mutt , Advance Auto Parts Grinder, Ironman, Stone Crusher and Monster Magic and more!

Monster Jam tickets are affordably priced for the whole family with seats starting at $20. Kid’s tickets (age 2-12) are just $10! For all shows, you can purchase a Total Access Pass. This includes 1 ticket to the event seated in the best seats in the house, and exclusive access to drivers with a private meet and greet prior to the event. Total Access Passes are available for $80 but quantities are limited! Additional fees apply to all tickets and all tickets are $2 more day of show. All tickets are available at the PNC Arena Box Office, Ticketmaster Outlets or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

The Party in the Pits on Friday, April 6 from 4:30PM – 6:30PM & Saturday, April 7 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM gives fans a great opportunity to get a view of the trucks up close and meet the drivers of the huge monster trucks. Free pit passes are available at participating Advance Auto Parts locations beginning March 1, 2012. Pit passes are also available now through Ticketmaster for $10. Fans must have an April 6th 7:30PM or Sunday, April 7th, 2PM event ticket and a pit pass to enter.

Fun Facts:
Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, monster trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster trucks can fly up to125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air!

We attended the Monster Jam event last year and had a blast! Guaranteed fun for the entire family!

Disney Phineas and Ferb - truly the BEST show ever!

Disney Phineas and Ferb - truly the BEST show ever!

Once again, Disney has created a wonderful show great for the entire family!

This past Saturday, we went and saw the Disney Phineas and Ferb show at DPAC. It was a lot of fun! All the Phineas and Ferb characters were there - even Agent P! The show included many songs from the show - including everyone's favorite "Squirrels in my Pants"! Everyone in the theatre couldn't help but clap and sing along!

The show was interactive and very entertaining for young and old alike. Be sure to find out when Phineas and Ferb: The Best Live Tour ever! is coming your way.
